Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide assembly and repair processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to analyze and improve the efficiency of existing mechanical systems.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including test reports and maintenance records.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Support the prototyping and production of mechanical parts and systems.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tools, equipment, and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in mechanical engineering.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering or technician role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
• Prior experience with mechanical testing, assembly, or maintenance is an asset.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on project deadlines.
