Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify garment patterns based on designer specifications and technical drawings.
• Translate sketches into precise digital or manual patterns, ensuring proper fit and proportions.
• Utilize pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Optitex, CLO 3D, or similar) to create digital patterns.
• Adjust patterns for different sizes, ensuring accurate grading and maintaining design integrity.
• Work closely with designers, tailors, and production teams to optimize garment construction.
• Troubleshoot fitting issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of pattern adjustments and specifications.
• Ensure patterns meet industry standards for mass production while maintaining the original design vision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in pattern-making software such as Gerber, Optitex, or CLO 3D (or similar).
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and textile behavior.
• Ability to interpret technical sketches and design specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers and production teams.
• Knowledge of industry trends, sustainable materials, and innovative pattern-making techniques.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in pattern making, preferably in the fashion industry.
• Experience working with different fabric types and garment styles.
• Previous experience in remote or freelance pattern making is a plus.

Working Hours
