Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Denim & Streetwear Designer to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for a fashion designer with a deep understanding of streetwear aesthetics and denim craftsmanship. You will be responsible for designing innovative denim and streetwear collections that align with current fashion trends while maintaining brand identity. This is a remote position, offering flexibility to collaborate with global teams and showcase your unique design perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop denim and streetwear collections, including jeans, jackets, shirts, and accessories.

• Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, fabrics, washes, and silhouettes to create unique yet marketable designs.

• Work closely with product developers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs.

• Create detailed technical sketches, CAD drawings, and tech packs for production.

• Select appropriate materials, trims, and finishes to enhance product aesthetics and functionality.

• Participate in virtual meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss design concepts, approvals, and production updates.

• Ensure that all designs meet sustainability and ethical production standards.

• Stay updated with streetwear culture, emerging fashion trends, and consumer preferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience in designing denim and streetwear collections.

• Strong knowledge of fabric properties, washes, and garment construction, especially in denim.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D, or other design software.

• Ability to create detailed technical sketches and tech packs.

• Excellent understanding of streetwear culture and urban fashion trends.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in denim and streetwear.

• Experience working with factories, suppliers, and production teams.

• A strong portfolio showcasing denim and streetwear designs.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours with availability for virtual meetings and collaboration.

• Project-based deadlines requiring adaptability and time management skills.
