Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner while meeting strict formatting and quality requirements.

• Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency with legal terminology.

• Manage and organize confidential legal information with the utmost discretion.

• Collaborate with clients and team members to clarify unclear audio, terminology, or document specifics.

• Stay up-to-date on legal transcription guidelines and industry best practices.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluency in Chinese, Malay, and English, with excellent comprehension, grammar, and written skills in all three languages.

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures across various areas of law.

• High typing speed with exceptional accuracy.

• Proficiency with transcription software and tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional legal transcription experience preferred.
