Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for product descriptions, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and ads

• Localize and adapt content to suit Brazilian Portuguese-speaking audiences

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and branding teams to maintain a consistent voice and message across all platforms

• Conduct research to deeply understand the product features, target audience, and competitive landscape

• Optimize content for SEO and digital performance

• Edit and proofread materials to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and tone consistency

• Stay current on e-commerce trends and content best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, with excellent writing and editing skills

• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)

• Ability to write in a variety of tones and styles tailored to different channels and audiences

• Understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and copywriting for conversion

• Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and storytelling

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects independently

• Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization tools is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role (preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing)

• Portfolio demonstrating writing versatility and impactful content

• Experience writing for Brazilian brands or audiences is highly desirable

Working Hours

• Flexible schedule – As a freelance role, you can work from anywhere and set your own hours

• Availability for occasional virtual meetings during business hours (Brasília Time)
