Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team in the Financial Services & Compliance sector. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality for our financial systems and compliance processes. This role involves testing, identifying, and resolving issues to ensure that the applications we deliver meet the regulatory and functional requirements of the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of financial services applications.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and compliance officers to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing efforts.

• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure that applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations such as MiFID II, SOX, and other relevant standards.

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to ensure clarity and testability.

• Perform regression, integration, and system testing.

• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and software functionality.

• Continuously assess and refine test processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Prepare test reports and maintain detailed test documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in Quality Assurance, specifically in the financial services or compliance sector.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., MiFID II, SOX, Dodd-Frank).

• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.

• Proficiency in scripting languages for automated testing (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).

• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate issues and test results.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on financial services and compliance.

• Experience with testing applications in regulated industries.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.

• Previous exposure to both manual and automated testing techniques.

• Experience in working within an Agile or Scrum environment is preferred.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday

• Flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work.

• Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Ability to understand complex financial systems and processes.

• Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Quality Center).

• Skilled in both black-box and white-box testing techniques.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
