Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with expertise in the Banking domain to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and integrity of our banking solutions, services, and systems through rigorous testing, process monitoring, and data analysis. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams, either onsite or in a hybrid setup, depending on the location and business requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases for banking applications and processes.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Perform manual and automated testing for banking systems, ensuring full coverage and compliance with business standards.

  • Identify, log, and track software defects using bug tracking tools; provide detailed reports and root cause analysis.

  • Conduct audits and quality reviews on project documentation, processes, and workflows.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines applicable to the banking industry (e.g., KYC, AML, Basel).

  • Work closely with UAT teams to validate functionality from an end-user perspective.

  • Support production releases and provide post-implementation testing as needed.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and recommending solutions to enhance quality assurance practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of banking domain processes such as payments, lending, risk management, and compliance.

  • Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).

  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Analysis, with at least 2 years in the banking or financial services sector.

  • Experience in working on both onsite and hybrid project models is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.


Working Hours:

  • Full-Time Position

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (local time)

  • Flexibility required based on project needs or release timelines.

  • Occasional weekend or late evening support during critical deployments or audits.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools (Selenium, QTP) is advantageous.

  • Capability to interpret technical documents and translate them into test strategies.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes.
