Progressive Technology is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced Online Tutor to join our team on a freelance basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online tutoring sessions for students in Singapore across a range of subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English, and more).

• Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials tailored to students learning needs and goals.

• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to track progress and suggest areas for improvement.

• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and academic achievement.

• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure the best possible student outcomes.

• Stay updated with curriculum changes, educational trends, and advancements in online teaching tools and techniques.

• Manage student schedules, session reminders, and ensure punctuality for all virtual sessions.

• Maintain professional and clear communication with students, parents, and the administrative team at Progressive Technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching students, preferably in an online setting.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.

• Comfortable with using online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams).

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.

• Highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring.

• Experience with online tutoring or virtual learning environments is highly preferred.

• Experience working with students in Singapore or familiarity with the Singaporean education system is a plus.

• Experience in specialized subjects (e.g., STEM, languages) will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Flexible working hours, with the ability to set your own schedule.

• Sessions will be scheduled based on students availability, mostly during after-school hours and weekends.

• Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with potential to increase based on demand.
