Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistant for our E-commerce Packing & Dispatch team in Faridabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are packed, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Packing & Dispatching: Safely and efficiently pack and dispatch orders according to company guidelines and customer specifications.

  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment to ensure the warehouse is adequately stocked and organized.

  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products before packing to ensure they are free from damage and meet customer standards.

  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, ensuring products are stored correctly and easy to locate.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and update the warehouse management system with dispatch details.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and provide assistance as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree is a plus).

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, packing, or dispatching (experience in e-commerce is a strong advantage).

  • Basic computer skills (familiarity with warehouse management software is a plus).

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, ensuring proper lifting techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with physical tasks.


Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, e-commerce, or logistics role.

  • Experience in packing, order fulfillment, or dispatch operations is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of inventory control and basic warehousing procedures.


Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.

  • Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Occasional weekend shifts may be required depending on order volume.

  • Warehouse Management: Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and handle multiple duties simultaneously.

  • Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and handling physical tasks, including lifting and moving products.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues in the packing or dispatching process and suggest improvements.
