Job Summary:

RELX Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our Business Services team. This position offers the opportunity to manage and grow key national accounts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business services, client relationship management, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. You will be a key contributor to the success of RELX Inc. by building long-term relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service that enhances our clients business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of national accounts, from onboarding to continued account growth. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each clients business objectives and needs, ensuring consistent revenue growth and long-term retention.

  • Client Support & Service: Provide strategic insights and guidance to clients, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling services.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver exceptional solutions to clients.

  • Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining client satisfaction.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance, revenue targets, and client satisfaction to senior leadership.

  • Market Insight: Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitor offerings, leveraging this knowledge to adapt strategies and provide clients with best-in-class service.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or business development within the business services industry.

  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive results.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address client challenges effectively.

  • Negotiation Skills: Expertise in negotiating contracts and agreements with national clients.

  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage accounts and track sales activities.


Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing, account management role, ideally within a business services or B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated success in managing large, national accounts, preferably within a remote or virtual setting.

  • Experience with complex sales cycles and dealing with senior decision-makers in client organizations.


Working Hours:

  • Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours to accommodate clients across various time zones.

  • Expected to be available during regular business hours (9 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Friday) with occasional flexibility for client needs.
