HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of our software and hardware systems, and delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients. Respond promptly to technical support requests via phone, email, and chat.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
Provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal, to non-technical users.
Maintain logs of support requests and document issue resolutions.
Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support teams and follow through until resolved.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
Support system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
Educate users on best practices and preventive measures for technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes and user satisfaction.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and networking concepts.
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, productivity software, and common business applications.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or IT support role.
Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
Experience supporting both hardware and software environments.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible hours available).
Occasional weekend or after-hours support may be required depending on business needs.
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
