Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products and services. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver seamless, high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify software defects and inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliverables.

• Track and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Participate in review sessions and provide feedback on product design and usability to improve overall quality.

• Automate repetitive test cases where applicable using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.

• Maintain and update test documentation to reflect changes in product features or requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in quality assurance.

• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support post-release verification and monitoring.

• Continuously research and recommend improvements to testing processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or in a similar role within software development.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman).

• Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.

• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing in a real-world environment.

• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time position

• Standard business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Flexibility for occasional extended hours or shifts depending on project deadlines or release schedules.
