Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing healthcare support team as Medical Billing and Coding Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Review and accurately code medical diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

• Enter and verify patient data in billing systems with precision and confidentiality

• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or via paper claims

• Resolve insurance claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies

• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing and coding guidelines and regulations

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare laws

• Assist with account follow-up and collections, when required

• Work collaboratively within a remote team setting to achieve billing efficiency and accuracy

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or certification in medical coding is a plus)

• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment

Experience

• No prior experience in medical billing or coding is required

• Full training and certification assistance will be provided

• Candidates with customer service, data entry, or administrative backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Working Hours

• Flexible working schedule with options for both full-time and part-time hours

• Standard shift availability: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Local Time)
