Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payment & Order Support Specialist to join our remote customer operations team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers with questions or issues regarding payment processing, order tracking, refunds, and related support services. Your ability to resolve queries quickly and professionally will directly impact customer satisfaction and retention.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and ticketing systems.
Assist customers in resolving payment-related issues, including failed transactions, payment confirmations, refunds, and billing queries.
Support customers with order-related requests such as status updates, cancellations, returns, or delivery concerns.
Investigate and resolve disputes by coordinating with internal finance and logistics teams.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
Escalate complex issues to the relevant departments while ensuring timely follow-up.
Monitor order and payment systems for anomalies and flag potential fraud or processing errors.
Provide feedback to improve support documentation, FAQs, and internal workflows.
Strong written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus (especially Portuguese or Spanish).
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive customer and payment information.
Comfortable navigating multiple software tools and platforms simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, e-commerce support, finance operations, or a similar role.
Prior experience with order management systems, payment gateways, or CRM tools such as Zendesk, Shopify, or Stripe is preferred.
Flexible remote schedule with availability to work across global time zones.
Must be available for at least one core shift between 9:00 AM â 6:00 PM (GMT or local time equivalent).
Occasional weekend or holiday coverage may be required depending on business needs.
Proficient in using communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and Gmail.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital payment systems.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and workflows.
