Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or entry-level professionals with a strong interest in data analysis and proficiency in Excel. In this role, you will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, interpreting, and visualizing data across a variety of business functions. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in real-world business analytics in a flexible, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and structure data from internal and external sources using Excel and other tools

• Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness

• Analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns or trends

• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders

• Support business teams with ad-hoc data requests and routine reporting

• Assist in automating manual data processes to improve efficiency

• Document procedures, workflows, and analysis logic for transparency

• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF statements, and data validation

• Basic understanding of data structures and data types

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Good communication skills for remote collaboration

• Ability to follow structured processes and pay attention to detail

• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferably Commerce, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science)

Experience

• Freshers are welcome – no prior professional experience required

• Internship or academic project experience with Excel or data analysis tools will be a plus

Working Hours

• Flexible shifts (morning/evening options available)

• Minimum 4 hours/day for part-time roles

• Full-time roles require 6–8 hours/day

• Monday to Friday (Weekends Off)

• Remote, work-from-home setup

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with Excel tools such as charts, conditional formatting, and data filters

• Basic knowledge of data visualization platforms (Google Sheets, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus)

• Self-motivated with strong time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Willingness to take initiative and suggest improvements in data processes

• Comfortable working in a remote team environment using communication tools like Zoom, Slack, or Google Meet
