Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Science, Mathematics, and Economics to contribute to the development of high-quality academic content. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain expertise, a flair for simplifying complex concepts, and the ability to create accurate, engaging, and curriculum-aligned content for students ranging from secondary school to undergraduate levels. This is a remote opportunity ideal for educators, researchers, and professionals who are passionate about knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate, original, and engaging academic content, including solutions, explanations, lesson plans, quizzes, and worksheets.

• Review and validate existing academic content for quality, clarity, and accuracy.

• Translate complex theories and principles into simple, digestible formats.

• Stay updated with curriculum guidelines (CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, college syllabi, etc.).

• Collaborate with content editors, instructional designers, and quality analysts to ensure pedagogical soundness.

• Answer academic queries from students within set deadlines and quality standards.

• Ensure content alignment with learning objectives and academic rigor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), Mathematics, or Economics.

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

• Strong conceptual knowledge and the ability to simplify topics.

• Proficiency in using digital tools like MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, and academic content platforms.

• Prior experience in content development, teaching, or academic writing preferred.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setup.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in academic content creation, teaching, tutoring, or curriculum development.

• Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge and writing skills are also encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible working schedule (minimum 4 hours/day preferred).

• Option to work full-time, part-time, or on a project/freelance basis.

• Weekend availability is a plus but not mandatory.
