Job Summary

Progressive Technology is hiring enthusiastic and knowledgeable Doubt-Solving Tutors to support students from various academic levels in resolving subject-related queries. This is a fully remote, flexible opportunity ideal for educators, college graduates, subject matter experts, or students pursuing higher education. Tutors will assist students in real time by clarifying doubts related to school or college subjects via a dedicated platform that works on both mobile and laptop devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to student queries submitted through the platform.

• Provide accurate, step-by-step explanations for academic questions across assigned subjects.

• Use clear language and visual aids (diagrams, formulas, etc.) where needed to enhance understanding.

• Ensure academic integrity by guiding rather than solving entire assignments or tests.

• Collaborate with internal quality teams to improve the quality of responses.

• Maintain response quality and meet daily performance targets.

• Follow platform guidelines and maintain a student-friendly tone in all communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, English, or Computer Science.

• Excellent written English communication skills.

• Ability to simplify complex concepts in an engaging and educational manner.

• Competence in using digital tools, mobile apps, or web-based platforms.

• Must have access to a laptop or mobile with a stable internet connection.

Experience

• Freshers, final-year students, and experienced tutors are welcome.

• Prior tutoring, doubt-solving, academic writing, or e-learning experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours: Choose your own schedule.

• Availability for at least 2-3 hours daily is preferred.

• Weekend shifts available (optional but encouraged for higher earnings).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep understanding of core academic concepts in selected subjects.

• Time management skills and ability to meet turnaround time on queries.

• Familiarity with educational standards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, College-level curriculum).

• Comfortable with using math tools or LaTeX for scientific notations (training provided if needed).

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others learn.
