HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Remote UX Research Interviewer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting one-on-one user interviews, gathering insights, and contributing to the development of user-centered digital products. Your research will directly impact the user experience design process, helping clients build intuitive, inclusive, and user-friendly interfaces.
Conduct remote user interviews via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar tools, following established research protocols.
Take detailed notes and/or record sessions (with participant consent) to ensure accurate data collection.
Analyze interview findings to identify key themes, patterns, and user pain points.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate insights into actionable improvements.
Contribute to the creation of user personas, journey maps, and research reports.
Recruit and screen participants according to research criteria (as required).
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards during all phases of research.
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Social Sciences, Design, or a related field.
Strong communication and active listening skills, with a natural curiosity for understanding people.
Ability to build rapport with diverse participants and make them feel comfortable during interviews.
Comfortable using video conferencing tools and collaborative documentation platforms (e.g., Google Docs, Miro, Notion).
Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
1–2 years of experience in UX research, user interviews, market research, or customer insights is preferred.
Freshers with a portfolio or coursework in UX research are welcome to apply.
Experience in remote work and virtual collaboration is a strong advantage.
Flexible work schedule based on research project timelines and participant availability.
Minimum commitment of 10–20 hours per week.
Option to work across time zones depending on participant location.
Familiarity with UX research methods: usability testing, contextual inquiry, user interviews, diary studies.
Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles is beneficial.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
Critical thinking and data interpretation skills.
