HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Online Grant Application Consultant to assist clients in identifying and applying for relevant funding opportunities from government bodies, foundations, and private organizations. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in grant writing, research, and non-profit fundraising. You will play a critical role in helping individuals, start-ups, and social enterprises secure essential funding for impactful projects.
Research and identify applicable grant opportunities based on client profiles and project objectives.
Prepare, write, and edit compelling grant applications, proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents.
Collaborate with clients to gather required financial and organizational information for submissions.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of grant applications in accordance with deadlines.
Track application statuses and follow up with grant-awarding organizations as necessary.
Provide strategic recommendations to maximize success rates.
Maintain records of applications, awarded grants, and correspondence.
Stay up-to-date with grant trends, eligibility criteria, and funding cycles.
Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development.
Strong understanding of grant research tools, online funding databases, and submission portals.
Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills with a persuasive tone.
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in grant writing or nonprofit development.
Experience working with NGOs, non-profits, academic institutions, or startups is an added advantage.
Portfolio of successful grant applications is highly desirable.
Flexible remote schedule; you can choose your own hours.
Expected availability for client meetings and internal updates (2–3 times a week).
Estimated workload: 20–40 hours/week depending on client volume.
Deep knowledge of government and foundation grant-making processes.
Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and online submission platforms.
Ability to quickly understand complex project ideas and communicate them effectively.
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Self-starter mindset with minimal supervision needed.
