Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Translation Coordinator to oversee and manage multilingual translation projects across a range of industries and content types. As a key liaison between clients and language service providers, you will coordinate workflows, ensure high-quality deliverables, and maintain project timelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate translation and localization projects from inception to delivery.

  • Assign tasks to freelance and in-house translators, editors, and proofreaders.

  • Maintain effective communication between clients and language professionals.

  • Track project timelines and ensure timely delivery of translation assignments.

  • Review translated materials for formatting, consistency, and completeness.

  • Maintain translation memory (TM) tools and glossaries.

  • Ensure adherence to quality control processes and client-specific requirements.

  • Generate and analyze project reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in onboarding and training new translators and reviewers when needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

  • Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Smartling.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).

  • A professional, customer-focused attitude with a problem-solving mindset.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in translation project coordination or localization management.

  • Previous experience working in a remote or freelance environment is a plus.

  • Exposure to global clients or multilingual content preferred.


Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours based on your time zone.

  • Occasional availability may be required for urgent client needs or overlapping with global teams.

  • Weekly workload: Approx. 35–40 hours.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of translation workflows, quality assurance procedures, and language industry standards.
