Job Summary

Flipkart is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking individuals to join our Courier Support team in the Sorting & Dispatch department. This is a great opportunity for freshers and experienced candidates who are eager to work in a fast-paced e-commerce logistics environment. You will be responsible for managing parcel sorting, organizing dispatch items, and ensuring that packages are ready for timely delivery to customers. No prior technical knowledge is required – full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort incoming parcels and packages by delivery route or destination.

• Organize packages into dispatch zones as per company logistics guidelines.

• Scan, label, and verify shipments for accuracy using handheld devices.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sorting area.

• Coordinate with delivery executives and supervisors for real-time updates.

• Follow safety standards and operational procedures during dispatch.

• Assist in loading/unloading of delivery vehicles when necessary.

• Report discrepancies or damaged parcels to the shift in-charge immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: 10th Pass (High School)

• Basic reading and writing skills in English or regional language.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift light to medium-weight packages.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Willingness to follow instructions and meet daily operational targets.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome.

• Previous experience in warehouse, courier, or logistics will be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Night Shift (optional): 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Weekly Rotational Off

• Flexible work timings may be available for part-time roles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of basic warehouse processes (preferred)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Adaptability to repetitive tasks with focus and speed

• Physically fit and capable of lifting packages (5-20 kg)

• Knowledge of scanning devices and dispatch software is a plus
