Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is seeking compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Senior Carers to join our exceptional care team across the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users in residential or domiciliary settings.

  • Lead and supervise a team of junior carers, ensuring daily care tasks are completed effectively and professionally.

  • Assist with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.

  • Administer or supervise medication, in accordance with company policy and individual care plans.

  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and social workers to ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain accurate records of care delivery, incidents, and observations.

  • Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

  • Support service users in maintaining independence and dignity in their daily lives.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent international qualification).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of carers.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills.

  • Basic understanding of UK care standards, regulations, and documentation.


Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a care setting, ideally in a supervisory or senior role.

  • Experience in providing personal care, administering medication, and managing care plans.

  • Prior experience in the UK is preferred but not essential for sponsored applicants.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, 37.5 to 48 hours per week

  • Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Overtime opportunities available with enhanced pay rates


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding principles

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations with confidence

  • Sensitivity to cultural and individual differences

  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals

  • Competence in digital care recording systems (training provided if required)
