Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.

  • Monitor and record residents health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.

  • Encourage and support residents to participate in recreational and therapeutic activities.

  • Promote independence and dignity at all times.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, family members, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and care regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the care home.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for caring for others.

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic written and spoken English proficiency (IELTS score may be required for visa processing).

  • Ability to work well as part of a diverse and multicultural team.

  • A caring, patient, and respectful nature.


Experience

  • Previous experience in a care or support worker role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • International candidates with relevant caregiving or nursing experience are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

  • Rotational shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
