Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Processing Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in handling insurance or service-related claims, providing you with a foundational understanding of back-office operations within the claims lifecycle. You will assist the claims processing team in data entry, reviewing submissions, and ensuring accurate documentation. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates, students, or individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the insurance, healthcare, or administrative support sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and processing incoming claims according to company procedures and compliance standards.

  • Enter claim details and supporting documents accurately into the internal claims management system.

  • Communicate with internal departments to clarify missing or inconsistent claim information.

  • Organize and update claim files and records both digitally and manually.

  • Support the team in claim audits, error tracking, and reporting.

  • Follow up on pending claims and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all claim documents and sensitive data.

  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and reporting as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Basic understanding of claim types (insurance, medical, warranty, etc.) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.


Experience

  • No prior experience required.

  • Prior internship or coursework in business administration, health insurance, or data processing will be considered an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Flexible part-time internship: 20–30 hours per week.

  • Monday to Friday (timing adjustable based on academic schedule or availability).

  • Remote/virtual internship setup.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with claim processing workflows or CRM systems is desirable.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot inconsistencies or errors in documentation.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Quick learner with a positive attitude toward administrative tasks.
