Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Lab Technician to join our growing scientific and technical support team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about laboratory work, diagnostics, and quality assurance. The Junior Lab Technician will assist in preparing samples, conducting tests, recording data, and ensuring that laboratory procedures are followed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior lab technicians and scientists in conducting routine laboratory tests and experiments.

• Prepare, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment and instruments.

• Label, organize, and track samples and chemicals accurately.

• Document test results and maintain laboratory records in accordance with protocols.

• Monitor and ensure laboratory cleanliness and safety compliance.

• Handle basic troubleshooting of lab equipment under supervision.

• Support quality assurance and control processes as needed.

• Dispose of laboratory waste safely and in compliance with regulations.

• Participate in inventory checks and replenish lab supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.

• Basic understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.

• Familiarity with common lab equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and spectrophotometers.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions precisely.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory setting (educational or professional).

• Fresh graduates with internship or project experience in a lab environment are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Full-time: Monday to Friday

• Standard shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with occasional weekend support based on project needs)

• Hybrid work model: Certain documentation and reporting duties may be performed remotely.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Sound knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and procedures.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under supervision.

• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, Excel, data entry tools).

• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Capable of identifying abnormalities in test samples and escalating as required.
