SysTechCare Support is looking for a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Hostel Reception Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our hostel. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, inquiries, and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-centered environment, has a passion for hospitality, and possesses a proactive and welcoming attitude.
Greet and assist guests at check-in and check-out with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain accurate booking records and update room availability
Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with excellent communication skills
Manage guest complaints, concerns, and special requests in a polite and timely manner
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
Monitor guest safety and report any unusual activity or security concerns
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
Keep the reception area clean, welcoming, and organized
Assist in inventory checks and ordering supplies as needed
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing reports
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or administrative training is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Good computer skills (MS Office, booking software, email)
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Friendly demeanor with a genuine passion for guest services
Basic knowledge of cash handling and record-keeping
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or in a team
Prior experience in customer service, reception, or hospitality is preferred
Freshers with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn will also be considered
Flexible shifts available (morning, evening, night)
Weekend and holiday availability may be required
Both part-time and full-time options are available
Familiarity with hostel or hotel booking systems is a plus
Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Patience, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with guests
Awareness of health and safety standards in hospitality
