Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Language Tutor proficient in Afrikaans and English to join our growing team. This remote teaching position offers an exciting opportunity to help students improve their language skills through engaging, structured online lessons. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and effective one-on-one or small group online lessons in Afrikaans and/or English.

• Develop tailored lesson plans that address students specific learning goals and levels.

• Monitor students progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

• Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit learners needs and preferences.

• Maintain accurate records of lesson attendance, performance, and outcomes.

• Use digital tools to enhance the virtual learning experience.

• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive virtual learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English, with strong written and spoken communication.

• Bachelors degree or currently pursuing a degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Experience

• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience (formal or informal) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Freshers with strong language command and passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours based on your availability and student demand.

• Options available for part-time (minimum 10 hours/week) or full-time commitment.

• Weekend and evening hours are a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in both Afrikaans and English.

• Ability to explain complex language rules in a simple, engaging manner.

• Empathy and patience when working with learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

• Confidence using digital tools and online learning environments.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
