Flipkart is seeking a dynamic and customer-centric Account Manager to support and manage our growing base of sellers on our e-commerce marketplace. As a key point of contact for sellers, the Account Manager will be responsible for onboarding, relationship management, sales performance tracking, and problem-solving to ensure smooth business operations and seller satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned sellers on Flipkarts marketplace.
Guide sellers through the onboarding process and ensure timely product catalog creation.
Monitor seller performance metrics including order fulfilment, returns, ratings, and revenue.
Analyze data and trends to identify sales opportunities and risks, and suggest actionable strategies.
Address operational issues including inventory problems, shipping delays, and payment queries.
Drive improvements in seller experience by advocating for process and product enhancements.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, product, finance, customer support) to resolve escalations.
Support sellers in promotional campaigns and events like Big Billion Days and Republic Day Sale.
Deliver regular performance reviews and provide feedback to help sellers scale efficiently.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with sellers and internal teams.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data interpretation.
Problem-solving ability with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
Good understanding of the e-commerce landscape, marketplace dynamics, and digital sales channels.
Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
1 to 3 years of experience in Account Management, E-commerce Operations, Vendor/Seller Management, or a similar client-facing role.
Previous experience in an online marketplace or B2B/B2C e-commerce platform is preferred.
Full-time position: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (IST)
Flexibility required during major sales events and high-demand periods
Deep knowledge of online marketplaces and seller operations.
Familiarity with marketplace tools such as Seller Panels, CRM, and data dashboards.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one regional language is an advantage.
