Job Summary

Hulu is seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic remote support team. In this role, you will provide best-in-class technical support to Hulu subscribers encountering issues with streaming devices, such as Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, smart TVs, mobile devices, and game consoles. Your mission is to deliver seamless and responsive service to ensure that every viewer enjoys a smooth and satisfying Hulu streaming experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via chat, email, or phone to troubleshoot streaming device and connectivity issues.

  • Guide users through device setup, software updates, app installations, and account configurations.

  • Diagnose and resolve errors related to buffering, playback, connection, and app malfunctions.

  • Document customer interactions and technical resolutions in support systems with precision and accuracy.

  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 teams with detailed troubleshooting notes.

  • Stay up to date on Hulu platform updates, device compatibility, and known service issues.

  • Provide empathetic, customer-centric support that enhances overall user satisfaction.

  • Recommend self-help resources or educational content to reduce repeat inquiries.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong technical knowledge of streaming devices and smart home technologies.

  • Comfort working with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and connected TVs.

  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in user-friendly language.

  • Proficiency in multitasking, time management, and problem-solving.

  • Reliable internet connection and home workspace for uninterrupted remote work.


Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or a related field preferred.

  • Prior experience supporting a digital media, tech, or streaming platform is a plus.

  • Freshers with strong technical aptitude and communication skills are welcome to apply.


Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling with availability required for evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

  • 8-hour shifts with two consecutive days off per week.

  • Must be able to work in a structured environment with punctual log-in and attendance adherence.
