Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Writing: Produce well-researched, original long-form and short-form content (1,000–2,500+ words for blogs, as well as crisp marketing copy).

  • SEO & On‑Page Optimization: Implement keywords, internal/external links, meta titles/descriptions, headers, and readability best practices.

  • Editing & QA: Self-edit for grammar, structure, clarity, and brand voice; iterate quickly based on editorial feedback.

  • Content Planning: Contribute ideas, outlines, and content calendars when required.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with editors, marketers, designers, and SMEs via tools like Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, Slack, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.).

  • Adherence to Guidelines: Follow brand style guides, tone of voice, and formatting standards.

  • Plagiarism-Free Delivery: Ensure 100% originality and fact-checked content.

  • Analytics Awareness: Use basic performance insights (CTR, time on page, conversions) to evolve content quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent command of written English with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and storytelling ability.

  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword intent, SERP research, on-page best practices).

  • Ability to structure complex ideas simply and write for different buyer personas and stages of the funnel.

  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Grammarly/Hemingway (or similar), and at least one major CMS.

  • Capability to self-manage deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solid research skills (primary/secondary), including citing credible sources and data.

  • Comfort with AI-assisted writing tools (for ideation and outlining) while ensuring human-quality output.


Experience

  • 1–3+ years of professional writing experience preferred (agency, SaaS, tech, fintech, B2B/B2C, eCommerce, health, education, etc.).

  • Exceptional freshers with a strong portfolio are also encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience producing SEO content, technical articles, thought leadership, or conversion copy is a plus.

  • Experience following briefs, content calendars, and editorial workflows is advantageous.


Working Hours
