HR Service Jobs is actively hiring Technical Helpers for our IT Hardware Support division. This is a full-time, onsite role designed for individuals with an ITI or Diploma in hardware and networking or electronics. As a Technical Helper, you will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware infrastructure at client sites or office locations. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
Assist in installing, assembling, and configuring computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
Provide basic onsite support for hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
Support LAN cable management, patch panel work, and network port testing.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.
Respond promptly to support tickets and service requests under the supervision of senior IT staff.
Safely transport hardware components and tools between service areas.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used.
Ensure all health, safety, and security protocols are strictly followed onsite.
ITI or Diploma in Computer Hardware, Networking, Electronics, or related field.
Basic understanding of hardware components, peripherals, and cabling.
Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with installation procedures of IT equipment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
0 to 2 years of experience in a hardware support or technical assistant role.
Freshers with practical training or internships in hardware maintenance are welcome to apply.
Full-Time, Onsite
Monday to Saturday – 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Flexibility may be required based on client service requests.
Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of a senior technician.
Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
Physically fit and comfortable with lifting/moving hardware components.
Basic troubleshooting mindset with eagerness to learn.
Professional attitude and punctuality are a must.
