Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Telehealth Intake Coordinator to join our remote healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking virtual medical services, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate data entry, and efficient coordination between patients and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for new and existing patients via phone, email, and chat for telehealth appointments.

  • Accurately collect, verify, and input patient demographics, medical history, and insurance details.

  • Schedule and confirm virtual appointments with healthcare providers based on patient needs and availability.

  • Provide clear instructions and technical guidance to patients for accessing virtual consultation platforms.

  • Communicate with medical teams to ensure timely patient intake and workflow coordination.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and healthcare privacy standards.

  • Identify urgent patient needs and escalate to the appropriate medical team as necessary.

  • Track and manage patient intake records for reporting and operational efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or healthcare-related certification preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, patient-friendly demeanor.

  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive medical information confidentially and accurately.


Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare administration, patient services, medical front desk, or telehealth support preferred.

  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems and knowledge of healthcare intake processes is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Flexible remote working hours with rotating shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

  • Occasional weekend availability may be required based on patient volume.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, patient intake procedures, and HIPAA compliance.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setup.
