Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our remote team. In this role, you will assist in processing mortgage loan applications, verifying borrower information, and ensuring all documentation complies with company and federal guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan applications for accuracy and completeness.

• Verify borrower documents such as income statements, credit reports, employment records, and property details.

• Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry into the loan processing system.

• Monitor loan pipelines and follow up with applicants or third parties to meet deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations throughout the loan processing cycle.

• Provide excellent customer support to applicants by answering questions regarding the loan process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Basic knowledge of mortgage lending, loan processing, or financial services is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn loan processing software quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote environment.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, banking, or financial services.

• Fresh graduates with an interest in the mortgage industry are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
