Accurately enter, update, and verify data from various sources into company databases and systems.
Review and cross-check data for discrepancies or errors and correct as needed.
Maintain data confidentiality and security in compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with different departments, including inventory, sales, and finance, to ensure data integrity and availability.
Generate regular and ad hoc reports based on entered data to support business functions.
Identify and escalate data issues or inconsistencies to management promptly.
Assist in developing and improving data entry processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Manage and archive digital and physical records according to organizational standards.
High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher preferred.
Proven experience (1-3 years) in data entry or a related administrative role, preferably in retail or a large-scale corporate environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data management software.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic understanding of database structures and terminology is an advantage.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in data entry or administrative functions.
Prior exposure to retail or supply chain data management preferred but not mandatory.
Full-time position, generally Monday through Friday.
Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required based on workload or departmental needs.
Potential for remote work or hybrid schedule depending on department and business requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
