Job Summary:

SysTechCare Support is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Expert to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all fund accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly financial statements for multiple funds.

• Perform NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations and reconciliations with custodians and prime brokers.

• Monitor fund performance and ensure accurate allocation of income, expenses, and gains/losses.

• Manage accounting for multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.

• Handle investor reporting, capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations.

• Collaborate with auditors during annual fund audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

• Implement internal controls to safeguard fund assets and mitigate risks.

• Stay updated with industry regulations, tax implications, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters preferred).

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CA are highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of fund structures, NAV calculation, and investment accounting principles.

• Proficiency in fund accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in fund accounting or investment accounting.

• Prior experience in hedge funds, private equity, or asset management firms is preferred.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible remote work schedule.

• Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (based on client time zone requirements).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.

• Familiarity with various investment products and asset classes.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• High attention to accuracy and detail in financial reporting.
