Job Summary

Emirates Airlines is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cargo Operations Executive to join our world-class cargo team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day cargo operations, ensuring efficient handling, transportation, and documentation of shipments while maintaining compliance with safety and security regulations. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to clients and partners globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee cargo handling processes, including acceptance, build-up, breakdown, and delivery.

• Ensure compliance with Emirates SkyCargo policies, international aviation regulations, and safety standards.

• Monitor flight schedules, cargo bookings, and space allocation to optimize load efficiency.

• Manage cargo documentation, including airway bills, manifests, and customs clearance.

• Communicate effectively with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve operational issues promptly.

• Track and report cargo performance, delays, and discrepancies to improve service delivery.

• Ensure proper handling of special cargo (e.g., perishables, dangerous goods, live animals) as per regulations.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cargo service quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of cargo operations, IATA/ICAO regulations, and airline industry practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and airline cargo management systems (e.g., SkyChain or similar).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in cargo operations, logistics, or freight forwarding.

• Previous experience in an airline or ground handling company is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on flight schedules and operational needs.
