Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration tests on networks, web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms to identify security weaknesses.

  • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments using both automated tools and manual testing techniques.

  • Analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed technical reports with remediation recommendations.

  • Simulate attack scenarios to evaluate the security posture of systems and applications.

  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to fix identified vulnerabilities and strengthen system defenses.

  • Stay updated with emerging threats, new hacking techniques, and the latest cybersecurity tools.

  • Develop and maintain penetration testing methodologies, scripts, and testing frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices.

  • Support incident response teams during post-breach analyses and forensic investigations when needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and OWASP ZAP.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, web applications, operating systems, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.

  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVE, and vulnerability management frameworks.

  • Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating security tests.

  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or CISSP will be an added advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or vulnerability assessment.

  • Prior experience in remote or virtual security testing environments is highly preferred.


Working Hours
