Job Summary

New York City Jobs is seeking a Global Remote Workforce Management and Scheduling Coordinator to oversee the planning, optimization, and coordination of workforce operations across multiple global regions. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who excels at balancing workforce supply and demand, ensuring optimal staffing levels, and maximizing productivity in a fully remote environment.
You will serve as the key liaison between operations, human resources, and management teams to forecast workload, manage scheduling systems, and monitor real-time staffing performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain global workforce schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all departments and time zones.

  • Analyze workload patterns, service level requirements, and productivity trends to create efficient staffing models.

  • Utilize workforce management tools to forecast demand and adjust schedules dynamically.

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs, operational changes, and project timelines.

  • Monitor adherence to schedules and proactively resolve attendance or shift compliance issues.

  • Generate and present performance reports, identifying staffing gaps, efficiency metrics, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support process automation and optimization initiatives within workforce planning and scheduling systems.

  • Manage time-off requests, shift swaps, and emergency rescheduling while maintaining workforce balance.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regional time zone differences, and company policies.

  • Provide administrative and analytical support to management regarding workforce performance and utilization.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in workforce management, scheduling coordination, or similar operations planning roles.

  • Proficiency in Workforce Management Systems (e.g., NICE IEX, Verint, Kronos, or similar tools).

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills, including the ability to create reports and interpret trends.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global, multicultural teams.

  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.


Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in global workforce management, remote team scheduling, or operations planning.

  • Experience in BPO, call center, or multinational workforce environments is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience managing large-scale remote workforces will be considered a strong advantage.


Working Hours

  • Fully remote role with flexible hours.

  • Must be available to coordinate across multiple global time zones (North America, EMEA, and APAC).

  • Occasional weekend or after-hours monitoring may be required during high-volume periods.
