Job Summary:

The American Red Cross is seeking a dedicated Donor Appointment Specialist to join our Biomedical Services team in a remote, work-from-home capacity. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for donors, coordinating appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless donation experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and confirm donor appointments via phone, email, and other digital platforms.

  • Maintain accurate donor records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide donors with relevant information regarding the donation process, eligibility, and post-donation care.

  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and resolve donor inquiries professionally and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with Biomedical Services staff to optimize appointment flow and donor experience.

  • Document interactions and maintain comprehensive logs in the CRM system.

  • Support special campaigns and outreach initiatives as needed.

  • Uphold the American Red Cross standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service excellence.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.

Experience:

Working Hours:

  • Part-time or full-time positions available, with flexible scheduling options.

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required to meet donor demand.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
