Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Specialist and Technical Website Optimization Analyst to lead advanced search engine optimization strategies, technical audits, and on-page/off-page initiatives for global clients. This role requires a data-driven strategist with deep technical expertise who can optimize website architecture, enhance user experience, and maximize organic visibility across all digital channels. You will work remotely, collaborating with marketing, development, and content teams to achieve measurable growth in traffic, leads, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage advanced SEO strategies aligned with company goals and client objectives.

• Perform in-depth technical SEO audits, analyzing crawl errors, site structure, and indexing issues.

• Optimize website performance by improving Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability.

• Conduct keyword research using advanced tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) to identify opportunities for growth.

• Implement on-page optimizations including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and content enhancements.

• Build and manage off-page strategies such as link-building campaigns, digital PR, and backlink analysis.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure technical implementations align with SEO best practices.

• Monitor and report SEO performance metrics, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.

• Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and emerging SEO technologies.

• Oversee competitor analysis to identify gaps and develop strategies for ranking improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5+ years of proven SEO experience, preferably in a technical and strategic capacity.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web architecture.

• Expertise in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Tag Manager.

• Knowledge of structured data, canonicalization, redirects, and XML sitemaps.

• Proven ability to improve website ranking and organic traffic across competitive industries.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data in simple terms.

Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in SEO strategy, technical optimization, and website performance analysis.

• Demonstrated success managing SEO for large-scale websites or enterprise-level clients.

• Experience working in collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and marketers.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours, with availability for coordination across global time zones when necessary.

• Standard: 40 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep knowledge of search algorithms, crawling, indexing, and ranking factors.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot.

• Understanding of content marketing, UX/UI principles, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Strong project management abilities, with attention to deadlines and deliverables.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality results.
