The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Freelance Transcription Specialist to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and precision. As a Freelance Transcription Specialist, you will contribute to a variety of projects, including interviews, webinars, corporate meetings, podcasts, and other digital content. Your work will directly support organizational communication, content creation, and client deliverables.
Listen carefully to audio/video recordings and accurately transcribe content into written format.
Ensure transcription documents are free of grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.
Follow specific style guides and formatting instructions for different projects.
Review, edit, and proofread transcriptions to guarantee high-quality output.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Meet assigned deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicate effectively with project managers regarding clarifications or concerns.
Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
Exceptional listening skills with the ability to understand different accents and dialects.
Strong typing skills with high accuracy (minimum 60 WPM preferred).
Proficiency with transcription software and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, or similar platforms).
Ability to follow instructions and adapt to varying transcription styles.
