Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and patient Remote English Reading Tutor to support school students in improving their reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and overall confidence in English. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching young learners, are passionate about literacy, and can create an engaging and supportive virtual learning environment. You will work with students from various grade levels and help them develop strong reading skills through structured sessions and personalised guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one online reading sessions with school students.

• Teach phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary building, sentence reading, and comprehension skills.

• Adapt teaching methods based on the students grade level, learning style, and pace.

• Prepare lesson plans, reading exercises, and simple assessments as needed.

• Monitor student progress and share feedback with parents or the academic team.

• Encourage a positive learning experience by motivating students and maintaining high engagement.

• Ensure timely attendance and completion of scheduled tutoring sessions.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and lesson summaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language, especially reading and pronunciation.

• Excellent communication skills with a clear and friendly teaching style.

• Ability to simplify concepts for young learners and maintain their interest.

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage virtual learning tools.

• A calm, patient, and motivating personality suitable for working with children.

Experience

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience (online or offline) is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours
