Job Summary

United Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents in long-term care facilities. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily living activities while working collaboratively with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

  • Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure

  • Support residents with feeding and hydration according to care plans

  • Observe and report changes in residents physical or emotional condition to nursing staff

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

  • Assist with transferring and repositioning residents to ensure comfort and prevent injury

  • Follow infection control, safety, and privacy policies at all times

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families

  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care

  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans

  • Basic computer and documentation skills

  • Physical ability to perform job-related tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods


Experience

  • Previous experience in a long-term care facility, nursing home, or assisted living environment is preferred

  • Newly certified CNAs with strong clinical training and a commitment to learning are encouraged to apply


Working Hours

  • Full-time and part-time positions available

  • Flexible scheduling, including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
