UnitedHealthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Post-Acute Care and Rehabilitation Centers. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on care and support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering patient-centered, high-quality care in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Support patients during rehabilitation activities as directed by nursing or therapy staff
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
Report changes in patient condition promptly to licensed nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to prevent injury
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
Provide emotional support, encouragement, and respectful care to patients and families
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care
Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Previous experience in post-acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred
New graduates with strong clinical training and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply
Experience working with elderly or medically complex patients is an advantage
Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available
Flexible scheduling, including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
