Job Summary

DoorDash is seeking a motivated and results-driven SMB Business Development Executive I – Merchant Retention to join our dynamic Merchant Success team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our small and medium-sized business (SMB) merchants, helping them maximize their growth on the DoorDash platform. Your primary focus will be building long-term relationships, understanding merchant challenges, and providing actionable solutions to ensure retention and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for SMB merchants, managing relationships to drive retention and satisfaction.

  • Monitor merchant health metrics, identify at-risk accounts, and proactively implement strategies to prevent churn.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product, to resolve merchant issues efficiently.

  • Conduct business reviews, analyze performance data, and provide insights to help merchants grow their sales and optimize operations on the DoorDash platform.

  • Educate merchants on new features, tools, and promotions to enhance their experience and drive engagement.

  • Track, report, and escalate trends in merchant feedback, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Achieve retention targets and KPIs by executing data-driven strategies tailored to individual merchant needs.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting metrics to drive actionable insights.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience

Working Hours
