Job Summary

DoorDash is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Strategy and Planning Manager to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes for DoorDash. You will partner closely with business leaders to provide data-driven insights, optimize financial performance, and guide strategic investments that accelerate growth. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a direct impact on one of the worlds leading on-demand delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and support decision-making on key business initiatives.

• Analyze business trends, revenue streams, and cost structures to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and growth.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.

• Develop and maintain financial models that inform strategic planning, investment decisions, and performance tracking.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, tools, and reporting systems.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Partner with global finance teams to ensure alignment with company-wide financial strategies and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and financial planning software; experience with tools like Anaplan or Adaptive Insights is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy roles, preferably within technology, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.

• Experience partnering with senior leaders to influence business strategy.

• Prior experience in a remote or hybrid work environment is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with occasional alignment to team meetings across U.S. time zones.

• Some availability for ad-hoc leadership meetings may be required.
