Lead the development and deployment of advanced data science models to support pricing, underwriting, and risk assessment initiatives.
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities related to cost, utilization, and risk segmentation.
Partner closely with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and product teams to inform pricing strategies and improve underwriting accuracy.
Design, validate, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models, including regression, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Support strategic initiatives such as new product pricing, portfolio optimization, and profitability improvement.
Ensure data integrity, model governance, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, providing technical guidance and best practices.
Continuously evaluate emerging analytics tools, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance capabilities.
Strong expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience working with large-scale datasets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Solid understanding of pricing, underwriting, or actuarial concepts within healthcare or insurance environments.
