Walgreens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician specializing in data entry and patient registration to support our pharmacy operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate patient information, prescription processing, and seamless pharmacy workflow. Accurately enter and verify patient information into Walgreens pharmacy management systems.
Assist in patient registration, ensuring completeness and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Process prescription data, including medication details, dosage, and refill information.
Coordinate with pharmacists to resolve discrepancies and ensure patient safety.
Maintain organized electronic and paper records for easy access and auditing purposes.
Provide administrative support to pharmacy staff, including preparing reports and managing communications.
Uphold Walgreens standards for quality, compliance, and patient confidentiality at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or relevant certification preferred.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation is a plus.
Proficiency with pharmacy software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry systems.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or data entry role is preferred.
