Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Online Chat Moderators to join our remote support team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, moderating, and responding to online chat conversations across our digital platforms. You will help maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging online environment while ensuring users receive timely and accurate responses. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live chat rooms, forums, and messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and company policies

• Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries via online chat

• Remove or flag inappropriate, abusive, or spam content when necessary

• Escalate complex issues, technical concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate internal teams

• Maintain accurate records of interactions, incidents, and resolutions

• Encourage positive engagement and foster a safe, welcoming online environment

• Stay updated on platform rules, moderation standards, and product updates

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written English communication skills with strong grammar and spelling

• Ability to type quickly and accurately

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Good judgment and decision-making skills when handling sensitive content

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and objective in challenging situations

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with online chat tools, social platforms, or forums

• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working setup

Experience

• Prior experience in online chat moderation, customer support, social media management, or community moderation is preferred

• Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

• Experience working remotely is an advantage but not mandatory

Working Hours
