Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team in the construction industry. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders to assist with site preparation, roadwork, and other construction-related tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, cranes, and loaders.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow project blueprints, site plans, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with material loading, unloading, and site preparation.
• Work in collaboration with other team members, including engineers and site supervisors.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as necessary.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating various types of heavy machinery.

Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

• Certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time positions with 8-12 hour shifts, depending on project requirements.
• Overtime may be required based on project deadlines.
• Some weekend and night shifts may be necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of grading, leveling, and excavation techniques.
• Familiarity with GPS and laser-guided equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to adapt to different site conditions and terrain types.
